A light edit on one of my stock photographs, IWC 293. I have a metal printed copy of this photograph.
The way things are going, July may have been the last time I will get to photograph this beautiful girl.
From the sounds of things in IWC's video updates and FB posts, I don't think she will be rejoining the main enclosure pack. She has been very happy and comfortable living by herself. I am happy that she is happy, but its also a bit of a bummer - she's only 4 years old. And she is my favorite subject to photograph. But I understand that they need to do what is best for her health.
Taken in July at the International Wolf Center.

This is almost hard to believe. I'm not sure how long ago I faved this photo; I don't actually remember doing it. It just popped up on my page in the 'random favorites' widget - and I instantly thought, "I think that's Luna", recognizing her from watching the IWC's webcam.
