Its hard to believe this was the 8th rendition of my canine photomanipulation secret santa event! I never thought the first time I hosted it back in 2016 (through my group at the time, Canipulate) that it would continue so successfully for so many years! I look forward to hosting it every year. (And just so you know, I have a reminder in my calendar for November of next year so I don't post sign ups so late again. xD)

Welcome to the 2023 Canine Photomanipulation Secret Santa Gift Exchange

In the spirit of giving and the holiday season, I present the 8th annual canine photomanipulation gift exchange!

The idea is fairly simple and straight forward, however here are a few guidelines to consider before signing up.

• Gifts do NOT need to be Christmas/Santa/Hanukkah/Holidays themed.

• Characters must be canine.

• Gifts should be tagged as Photomanipulations.

• Participants should have at least one photomanipulation in their gallery prior to signing up, to allow gauging for group placement. (Previous works do NOT need to be canine!)

• Group placements will ultimately be decided upon by the host, to allow artists of similar skill level to be paired.

• Any participant in the previous 7 years of Secret Santa events who failed to deliver their gift will not be allowed to participate in this exchange.

• Please only sign up if you feel you can submit a completed piece in the allotted time. Thank you!

• Once you sign up, please consider boosting this event by sharing this journal in a poll, status, or journal of your own to spread the word. Thanks!

Timeline

• Sign Ups: November 26th-Dec 1st

• Pairings Drawn/Assignments Notified: December 1st EOD

• Work on Your Piece: December 1st - December 25th

• Upload/Reveal Completed Gifts: December 25th

• (If need be, uploads can be made a couple of days before or after the 25th, to accommodate for this busy time of year!)
